welcome the Florida Melody Makers
with a “SOLD OUT” concert, hosted by the Vishwa Bhavan Mandir, Inc. of
Loganville GA. The
Pre-Mother’s Day Soca Chutney Explosion, a fundraiser for the
construction of the new Vishwa Bhavan Mandir, an Indo-Caribbean Hindu temple
to be located in Loganville GA, was a smashing success. International
renowned orchestra, "Florida Melody Makers" had the pack VFW Hall,
jumping to live chutney, soca, and reggae music. Other entertainment was
provided by local talented singer Turner Persaud;
sensational dancing by the VBM Dance troupe and
a breathtaking performance by Nalini Suknandan.
The Executive committee and members of the Vishwa Bhavan Mandir express their gratitude to the sponsors of this event – Tech USA, Olympian Rentals, Maharaja Restaurant, Platinum Mortgage, ReMax Platinum, ElDorado Restaurant, Mala’s West India Store, and to all the volunteers that assisted in making this fundraising concert a success.
